How 4pricing works in Switzerland: track prices by link
You paste the address of a product page from a Swiss shop, 4pricing checks it at regular intervals and keeps every price it reads. You then compare the offers you have added and get an alert when a price moves.
From a product-page address to a price alert
You add product-page links
Paste the address of a public product page, for example a page on Digitec, Galaxus, Brack, Interdiscount, Migros, Manor or Coop. The link identifies the product: you cannot add a product by its name alone or by its EAN code.
Scheduled checks
Each product is checked automatically, by default every 6 hours. You can set the interval product by product; the shortest interval depends on your plan.
Every reading is kept
A successful check records the price, the currency, the availability and the time. The history stays available product by product.
Groups to compare
Put your own product and the competitor offers you add yourself in one group: the group shows the minimum price, the median, the cheapest shop and your position.
Price alerts
Get an alert when a price falls below or rises above a threshold, drops by a percentage or comes back in stock. Alerts are evaluated at every check.
A recommended price, applied by you
For your own product, 4pricing calculates a recommended price. You apply it yourself: it is recorded in 4pricing; a linked 4buildsite shop changes only after your approval.
You add the links of the product pages you want to follow, 4pricing reads them at the interval you choose and records every price. You group comparable offers, check the history and turn on alerts. Keyword search does not yet cover Swiss shops, so for Switzerland you track each product through its link. Pages are read from our servers: a shop that varies its prices by visitor country may show something different.
