Automated alerts — get notified when a price drops or stock returns
4pricing checks the products for you and notifies you when it matters: the price fell below your target, dropped by a percentage, or an out-of-stock product came back. Notifications arrive in the app and by webhook, without you watching the stores.
The alerts you can get from 4pricing
Drop below target price
Set the threshold, and the alert fires when a check finds the price below it — on any product page you track.
Percentage drop
Get notified when the price drops by X % versus the previous check.
Back in stock
Was a product you wanted out of stock? You get a notification when a check finds it available again.
In-app and webhook
Alerts land in your in-app inbox; you can also set a signed webhook (an HTTP POST to a URL you set, retried with backoff) that your own systems can pick up.
One-time or recurring
An alert fires once by default, or recurs with a cooldown (24 hours by default), so you don't end up ignoring the important ones.
Per-product rules
Set different thresholds and alert types for each tracked product, from panel.4pricing.net.
The events that trigger a notification and the channels it can arrive on.
| Event | When we notify you | Channel |
|---|---|---|
| Drop below target price | When a check finds the price below your threshold | In-app; webhook if enabled |
| Percentage drop | When a check finds a drop of X % versus the previous check | In-app; webhook if enabled |
| Back in stock | When a check finds the product available again | In-app; webhook if enabled |
| Repeat of the same event | Only after the cooldown, if the alert is recurring | The same channels |
Add the products and set what you want to hear about: a price below or above a level, a percentage drop or a back-in-stock event. Alerts are evaluated whenever a check runs — every 6 hours by default, at the interval you set within your plan — and 4pricing sends the notification when a check meets the rule.
