Organise by category — label products, compare each group
4pricing lets you give every product and comparison group a category label — laptops, phones, PC components, home appliances, whatever you track — and compare each product group on its own, with price, history and who's cheapest. There is no category-wide comparison report: the comparison happens per product group.
How categories work in 4pricing
A category label on every product
Give each tracked product and group a free-text category, so your list stays organised the way you think about your catalog.
Import and export with categories
The CSV import accepts an optional category column, and the CSV export of your product list includes it, so labels travel with your data.
Compare per product group
For each product in a category, a group compares your price with the competitor listings you add: minimum, median, average, the cheapest retailer and a verdict.
History on every product
For any tracked product you get the price history, so you can tell real discounts from fake ones.
Alerts per product
Set price alerts on the products in a category — a price below a level, a percentage drop or back in stock.
Keyword search at six Romanian stores
Look up a product by name at eMAG, Altex, Flanco, PC Garage, Evomag and Cel.ro to start a group quickly — each retailer fetched costs 1 credit.
What categories do in 4pricing and what they do not.
| Item | What 4pricing does |
|---|---|
| Category label | A free-text label on products and groups, importable and exportable via CSV |
| Comparison | Per product group: your price versus the competitor listings you add |
| History | A price history for each tracked product |
| Category-level comparison report | Not available — comparison is per product group |
Add your products by link or CSV, label them with a category, and create a comparison group for each product you want to compare against competitors. 4pricing checks the pages on a schedule and shows the comparison and the history for each group. The category is a label for organising, not a separate report.
