E-commerce integrations — import, API and webhook for your own systems

4pricing.net has no ready-made connectors or plugins for ERPs, WMSs, e-commerce platforms or marketplaces. You move the data yourself, in four ways: CSV import with a URL column for the list of tracked products, REST API for live data, one webhook for push alerts and on-demand CSV export of the product list, for BI or Google Sheets (price history is read through the API, not the export). The platform does not run exports on a schedule itself — if you want a file at fixed times, you call the export endpoint from your own job.

Available connection methods

There is no single correct approach — it depends on your infrastructure and catalogue volume. The simplest routes are the initial CSV import and the on-demand export of the product list, downloaded when you need it. Teams with their own ERP build the link themselves on the REST API or webhooks.

  • CSV/URL import: you upload the list of links once (up to 2,000 rows per import) and the platform starts checking them
  • REST API: your system reads live data on demand, without intermediate export
  • Webhook: one URL per account receives push notifications for each price alert you create
  • On-demand CSV export: download the product list when you need it, or automate it from your own cron via the API; history is read through the API

Product import via CSV or URL

Bulk import is done via CSV upload with a header row. The only mandatory column is url — the product page link; optionally you can add name, category, group and role (own or competitor). One import accepts up to 2,000 rows, and duplicate URLs are skipped. The platform does not search for or match products at other retailers: you add each competitor's link yourself.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • Simple import via CSV — no advanced technical knowledge required
  • Fully documented REST API with OpenAPI for custom integrations
  • One webhook URL per account that receives each alert type you create (price threshold, percentage drop, back in stock, competitor undercut, loss of lowest price)
  • On-demand CSV export of the product list, automatable from your own cron via the API

Limitations

  • API integration requires development resources on the client side
  • The webhook requires a permanently available public http/https URL (port 80/443)

Quick verdict

CSV import is the simplest way to load your product list. The API and the webhook are for teams with technical resources who want to automate the link to their own systems themselves.

Frequently asked questions

What format does the CSV file need to have for import?

A header row and, as the only mandatory column, url (the product page link). Optional: name, category, group and role (own or competitor). Maximum 2,000 rows per import; duplicate URLs are skipped.

Can I integrate 4pricing with Google Sheets?

Yes, via the on-demand CSV export, which lists your products (not the price history). The platform does not schedule exports itself, but the export endpoint, called with your API key header, can be called from a simple Apps Script, on the schedule you set in Google Sheets.

How many webhooks can I configure and what do they send?

There is one webhook URL per account, and it receives every alert you create (HMAC-signed): price below a threshold, price above a threshold, percentage drop, back in stock, a competitor undercutting you, and loss of the lowest-price position.

Is there native integration with e-commerce platforms (WooCommerce, Shopify)?

No. 4pricing has no plugins or connectors for WooCommerce, Shopify, PrestaShop, Magento, BaseLinker or other platforms, nor for ERPs, WMSs or marketplaces. A developer can build your own flow on the REST API and webhooks, or you can manually import a CSV export into your platform; nothing is synchronised automatically.
